Technical SEO FAQ · Technical SEO Strategy & Foundations

What is your process for deciding whether a technical SEO issue is worth fixing?

First establish whether the issue is real, then determine its impact.

Use this sequence:

Observation → Google exposure → SEO consequence → scale → business value → implementation risk

Example:

"35,000 parameter URLs exist" is an observation.

It becomes an SEO issue only after establishing that these URLs are unnecessarily crawled, duplicate valuable pages, create indexation problems, or otherwise create a meaningful search-system inefficiency.

Not every crawler warning requires a fix. Some should be monitored; others are expected behavior.
