How do you perform an SEO-safe domain migration?
Plan the migration as a URL mapping problem.
For every old URL:
old URL → final new URL
Implement permanent redirects, update internal links and sitemaps, verify canonicals and monitor Search Console.
Do not redirect every URL to the homepage.
Google recommends mapping old URLs to equivalent new URLs and monitoring after launch.
