What Is Page Experience in SEO?

Page experience is Google's umbrella term for signals measuring how users perceive interacting with a page, including Core Web Vitals, mobile-friendliness, and HTTPS.

Page experience is a tie-breaking signal, not a dominant one — it rarely overrides strong relevance and content quality, but it consistently separates competitors that are otherwise close.
