What Is Mobile-First Indexing?
Mobile-first indexing is Google's default practice of using a site's mobile version of a page, rather than its desktop version, for indexing and ranking.
Content, structured data, and internal links that exist on desktop but are missing or hidden on mobile are effectively invisible to Google under mobile-first indexing.
