What Are Core Web Vitals?

Core Web Vitals are Google's three standardized page-experience metrics measuring loading speed, interaction responsiveness, and visual stability during a page's lifecycle.

All three metrics are measured from real-user field data (via the Chrome User Experience Report) as well as lab data — the two can and often do disagree.
