What Is Indexing in SEO?
Indexing is the process of storing a crawled, rendered page in a search engine's database so it can be retrieved and shown for relevant search queries.
A page can be crawled without ever being indexed — Google Search Console's "Crawled – currently not indexed" status is one of the most common technical SEO issues to diagnose.
