What Is Rendering in SEO?

Rendering is executing a page's HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to produce the final content that a browser or search engine crawler actually sees and evaluates.

Google renders pages in a second wave after initial crawling, which means JavaScript-dependent content can be discovered and indexed later than static HTML — sometimes days later on large sites.
