What Is Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)?

Largest Contentful Paint is a Core Web Vital that measures how long it takes for the largest visible content element on a page to finish rendering on screen.

LCP is most often dragged down by render-blocking resources, slow server response times, or unoptimized hero images — the fix is almost always a loading-priority problem.
