What Are Rich Results?

Rich results are enhanced search listings, such as star ratings, FAQs, or recipe cards, generated automatically from a page's valid structured data markup.

Rich results are validated but not guaranteed — a page can pass Google's Rich Results Test and still never display the enhanced listing, depending on competition and relevance.
